When you first log in, the Portfolio Summary will be blank as you are yet to enter in any stocks that you may own. If you currently own shares and want to begin with these as your starting capital, then the first task you will have is to enter in these stocks as purchases. First up you need to create a portfolio. Click on the Preferences/Portfolio Maintenance link. This will take you directly to the section of the preferences page where you can create a portfolio.

Here you can give your portfolio a name and select which currency you would like to use.

Click on Create Portfolio to complete the process.

To enter stocks you already own into this new portfolio, type in the code of the stock in the Stock Search box at the bottom of the navigation and click on Go.
When the screen below appears, click on the Buy icon.

Fill in the details then click on Buy Stock.

Repeat this process for any other stocks that you may own.
