Directly below the price window, you will see three charting indicators that will be routinely used to analyse a stock. These are the MACD, Stochastic and Volume of Shares Traded.

Volume - Each bar is an indication of the number of shares traded that day. The actual number of shares traded on this day is written to the right hand side of this box.
MACD - The MACD is short for Moving Average Convergence Divergence. When the bar graph is above the centre line, then the MACD is bullish and the stock is generally increasing in value. If the bar graph is below the line, then the MACD is bearish and the price is generally decreasing in value.
STO - STO is short for Stochastic. The horizontal lines are the trigger point for this indicator. They are drawn at values of 30 and 70. When the line crosses up through the 30 or 70 line, the Stochastic is bullish and the stock is generally increasing in value. If the line crosses down below the 70 or 30 line, then the Stochastic is bearish and the price is generally decreasing in value.
OPI Bar - The Overall Performance Bar is the red and green bar at the bottom of the chart. It is a summary of the performance of the stock over the time frame for the chart shown. The OPI column in the Market Scan page shows one day at a time, while this graph shows several weeks worth at once. This is a guide only and you will need to pay close attention to all factors in the trading plan before deciding to buy or sell a stock.
