When you open a chart in IntegraStock, it will look something similar to the one shown below.

This is a closing price chart for a period of 3 months. A dot is drawn on the chart for the closing price each day and then a line is drawn through the chart connecting these dots. You can quickly tell what is happening to the current trend, and we use this type of chart through the education modules as they are simple to read. Their disadvantage is they only shows the price at which the stock closed. They do not show useful information such as the opening price, or the highest or lowest price paid during the day. For this detail, you need either an OHLC or Candlestick charts.
